Holland America Line is an American/British-owned cruise line; a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc. Originating in the Netherlands, the company is now based in Seattle, United States.

In 1873, A shipping and passenger line was founded in 1873 as the Netherlands-America Steamship Company (NASM).

In 1976, Holland America Line Inc. began recruiting skilled personnel from the Philippines through United Philippine Lines as the chosen agent. 

A 43-year and continuing relationship with Holland America and United Philippine Lines.

Holland America Line became the pioneer in the manning industry and one of the very first to hire Filipino seafarers.

Today Holland America offers more than 200 positions for Filipinos on each of its 10 vessels. Including Hotel, Deck, Engine, and Medical Departments. Totaling more than 6,000 Filipino crew on all their vessels.
